Good evening, Loonies!

High Priest Rey writing this here newsletter for your eyes only and want to kick things off by announcing what we have in store for the upcoming episode this weekend! As always, we follow the phases of the Moon and this time 'round Khonshu has spoken his desire to have the issue reviewed, as thus! - 

PHASE OF THE MOON: WANING CRESCENT

LUANR-PICK - CLASSIC RUN REVIEW,

MOON KNIGHT VOL. 1, ISSUE #3 - 'MIDNIGHT MEANS MURDER'

It's a continuation of our classic run review and as the Waning Crescent strangles the last vestige of light in the nocturnal sky, the High Priests along with fellow High Priest Rebecca expound on all the finer points of Moench and Sienkiewicz' third foray into the story of Moon Knight!

We'll stick to our informal review format of SLIVER, IDOL CHAT & (highly convoluted) MOON RATING which should set us up nicely with framing our discussion on everything from the art, writing, character depiction, zeitgeist pop references and much much more!

For the keen Loony, you'll notice that there has been a drive to promote more of our stuff on social media (yep, I'm back into Hootsuite which just makes posting so much easier!) , so you'll be sure to see a discussion post up on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram calling out for you to drop in your thoughts for discussion on the show.

We had an absolutely awesome response from our previous AVATARS OF VENGEANCE episode last week, where many Gamer Loonies threw their hat into the ring to weigh in on Moon Knight in video games...we'd love for the same to happen for his comics too!

So I'll post a discussion thread up, and please be sure to have a read of the issue and let us know what you think of it - was it any good? Who is this Midnight Man?... Just how will Moon Knight fare against this somewhat pseudo-rogue?

I've completed part of the interview with Sparky Mularkey so far - it's gearing up to be quite a fun interview and can't wait to give it the once over in post-production and have a fully themed ISLA RA for you all to listen to! It's always fun to get to know your fellow Loonies, and just so excited to chat about Sparky's mastery over cosplay and of course her top 4 books! Needless to say, a couple of them won't surprise you - and a couple of them just may!

Finally, I just want to give a shoutout to a new Moon Knight fan film which was generously shared by our good Loony, Tommy 'The Man on the Streets'...

I'll be sure to give it a shout out on the show too, but I urge you to give it a watch as it's pretty special indeed. Sure, they give it their own inimitable stamp, but I think most Loonies will appreciate seeing Marc realised on screen!
